International Power was a UK-based electricity generation company that operated globally, providing power solutions across various regions.

Established in 2000 following the demerger of National Power, International Power focused on electricity generation in emerging markets. By 2011, it had a gross capacity of over 66,000 MW in operation and committed projects expected to deliver an additional 22,000 MW by 2013. In 2012, GDF Suez acquired the remaining 30% stake in International Power, leading to its full integration into GDF Suez's operations.
