The Allen-Bradley 1747-L532 Series D is a programmable logic controller (PLC) processor module from the SLC 500 family. It features 16K words of user memory, with 12K words allocated for data/program storage and 4K words dedicated to data only. The processor supports up to 4096 input and 4096 output points, along with 480 local analog I/O points, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial control tasks. It includes built-in communication ports: one RS-232 port and one DH-485 port, facilitating seamless integration with various devices and networks. The 1747-L532 operates with a program scan time of approximately 1 millisecond per K-word and an I/O scan time of 0.225 milliseconds, ensuring efficient processing. It is designed to function within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and can withstand operating shocks up to 30G. The module is compatible with standard battery-backed RAM and supports flash backup memory for enhanced data retention.
